Name: Gilly Location: Newbury Submitted: February 10, 2020 00:14:43 Comments: brilliant gig at the Corn Exchange last night but please ask Angelo, when he's running through his list of venues, Wigan, Twisted Wheel etc, to include the biggest and longest-running of them all, the California Ballroom in Dunstable. We used to sit in the artiste's lounge after the shows with Edwin and his bucket of KFC. Good times. Sadly the Ballroom was demolished in 1980 and is now a housing estate. Thought you might like a couple of photos taken by my husband at Butlins a few years back.
